Job Description:
Wildman Uniform & Linen is seeking an Account Service Representative (ASR) to provide rental customers with excellent customer service. An ASR drives a delivery truck along an established route to pick up/deliver product and provide service to new and existing customers. It is a physical, fast-paced job that involves manual labor and excellent people skills. As the face of Wildman to our customers, the ASR is responsible to build ongoing relationships with key contacts and creatively resolve customer concerns while servicing businesses of all sizes and industries.
This position is a four-day Monday through Thursday average work week.
Job Requirements:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Delivers clean and new products to customers daily in company truck.
- Picks up soiled products for cleaning at Wildman facility.
- Unloads soiled product and distributes at plant accordingly.
- Loads truck with products for next delivery day.
- Verifies daily invoicing with a handheld computer.
- Tracks customer inventory of products for correct delivery and billing quantities.
- Takes care of or assists in customer service issues concerning route customers.
- Completes all daily paperwork as needed.
- Increases dollar volume on route by soliciting additional sales to drive revenue.
- Responsible for retaining current customers.
- Keeps truck clean and notifies Fleet Managers of truck issues.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years customer service experience preferred.
- 2-3 years driving/delivery experience preferred.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- 2-5 years of sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Requires a For-Hire Endorsement.
- Must pass a DOT physical and a drug/alcohol screening prior to employment.
- Attention to detail is a must as errors may involve loss of customers.
- Requires ability to use handheld computer, keyboard, monitor, phone, calculator, printer, and copier.
- Ability to communicate well with others.
- Maintains organization and is able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Travel to outlying Wildman facilities as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires maximum physical effort to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Required to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, lift, push and walk.
- Must be able to drive a truck/step van with ease.
- Ability to read, enter and use a handheld computer efficiently.
- Use a telephone to communicate with customers and internal support personnel needs.
- Option to wear steel-toed shoes or boots and gloves.
- Follow safety protocols at each customer location to ensure the health of personnel.
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Outside air temperatures during all seasons.
- Extreme heat/humidity during summer months.
